Casa del Clero

As announced by Pope Benedict XVI, the Year of the Priests begun with the solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday, the 19th of June, 2009 and ended on the same solemnity on the 11th of June, 2010, in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the birthday of John Maria Vianney. Cardinal Crescezio Sepe, Archbishop of Naples since July 1, 2006, wanted to give priests the housed at the Casa Del Clero, the renovation and modernization of the building. And so, it was inaugurated in November 2010. Here, we have a fraternity of three Sisters, carrying out the ministry of witnessing to the love of the Church and to those in need, as our founder, the Venerable Father Simpliciano of the Nativity teaches us. This apostolate is a realization of the testamentary will of the Servant of God the Mother Landi, foundress of the Servants of the Church.
